Recycling Cardboard

Old Corrugated Cardboard (OCC) is made from two strips of flat cardboard on the top and bottom, and a wavy "corrugated" or fluted strip running through the center. It is most commonly found in boxes used for packaging and shipping items.

As part of our commitment to recycling, First Piedmont offers a Front Load Recycling Service. The cost of this type of cardboard recycling is generally 30% less than the cost of landfill disposal.

For businesses that produce a large volume of OCC, we provide closed-top containers, compactors, and balers.
