We are pleased to announce that on October 12, 2011 the First Piedmont landfill, 1224 Clarks Mill Rd, Ringgold, VA recevied certification from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency determining our facility acceptable for the receipt of CERCLA waste.

First Piedmont Corporation is a full service waste management company. We provide waste hauling, disposal, and recycling services for residential, commercial, and industrial customers. We operate a CERCLA certified industrial landfill, transfer station, and recycling center in Pittsylvania County outside of Danville, Virginia. We accept the following waste streams: industrial, commercial, construction, demolition, debris, asbestos, industrial sludge, non-hazardous special waste and other industrial by-products or off-spec materials. We operate a second transfer station in Martinsville, Virginia. Our fleet includes front load, roll-off, single box and double box roll-off tractor and trailers, 35-foot aluminum dump trailers, tank trailers, and van trailers. In addition to Virginia and North Carolina, our special waste hauling division services Alabama, Georgia Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, and West Virginia. We are locally owned and operated and have been in business since 1969.
